Zeina Spicy Broasted Spices take the same crisp-chicken coating idea and turn the heat up: this is the hot version of the pair, with a clear chilli presence that shows in the deeper orange-tan colour of the powder. The aroma is peppery and toasted, garlicky underneath, with a dry chilli sting you can smell before you taste it. Blend it into flour and starch, dip the chicken in buttermilk, coat twice and fry until crisp, or toss already-fried wings in it while they are hot. It seasons spiced fries, popcorn chicken and shrimp coatings just as well. Cut the heat at the table with garlic sauce or a yoghurt dip. Comes in a resealable pouch. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

بهارات البروستد الحارة من زينة تأخذ فكرة تغطية الدجاج المقرمش نفسها وترفع الحرارة: هذه هي النسخة الحارّة من الثنائي، بحضور شطة واضح يظهر في لون المسحوق البرتقالي الترابي الأغمق. الرائحة فلفلية محمّصة بخلفية من الثوم، مع لسعة شطة جافة تشمّها قبل أن تتذوّقها. تُخلط مع الطحين والنشا، ويُغمس الدجاج في اللبن الرائب ويُغطّى مرتين ويُقلى حتى يقرمش، أو تُقلّب بها الأجنحة المقلية وهي ساخنة. تُتبّل بها كذلك البطاطس الحارّة ودجاج البوب كورن وتغطية الروبيان. تُلطّف حِرافتها على السفرة بصوص الثوم أو غموس الزبادي. تأتي في كيس قابل لإعادة الإغلاق. يُحفظ في مكان بارد وجاف بعيداً عن أشعة الشمس المباشرة.
