Zeina Mixed Spices 200 g

Reach for Zeina Mixed Spices when a dish needs rounding out rather than one loud flavour. The blend is a mid-brown powder, warm and softly aromatic, with sweet baking-spice notes sitting beside savoury ones so it seasons meat and vegetables equally well. Work a spoonful into minced meat for sambousek and mahshi filling, season vegetable marag and lentil soup with it, dust it over fried potato and roast cauliflower, or add it to an omelette and to burger patties. It also seasons the water for boiling meat and gives dough for meat pies a warmer background note. Being finely milled, it blends in at once with no grittiness. Supplied in a resealable pouch. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

بهارات مشكّلة من زينة هي الخلطة التي تُمدّ إليها اليد حين يحتاج الطبق إلى استدارة في الطعم لا إلى نكهة واحدة صاخبة. الخلطة مسحوق بني متوسط، دافئ عطري هادئ، تجاور فيه نغمات البهار الحلو نغمات مالحة، فيتبّل اللحم والخضار بالقدر نفسه. تُدلك ملعقة منها في اللحم المفروم لحشوة السمبوسك والمحاشي، ويُتبّل بها مرق الخضار وشوربة العدس، وتُرشّ على البطاطس المقلية والقرنبيط المحمّر، أو تُضاف إلى العمليت وأقراص البرغر. كما تتبّل ماء سلق اللحم وتمنح عجينة فطائر اللحم خلفية أدفأ. ولأنها مطحونة ناعماً تمتزج فوراً دون أي خشونة في القوام. تأتي في كيس قابل لإعادة الإغلاق. يُحفظ في مكان بارد وجاف بعيداً عن أشعة الشمس المباشرة.
