Zeina Ground Mint 60 g

Dried mint leaf, milled to a soft powder, is all that fills a pouch of Zeina Ground Mint. The colour is muted sage rather than fresh green, and the aroma is cool and sweetly herbal, concentrated enough that a pinch goes a long way. Whisk it into laban and ayran, dust it over foul at breakfast, or fold it through kubbeh mixtures and lentil soup. It seasons tabbouleh and fattoush when fresh leaves are not to hand, sits well in yoghurt and cucumber salads, and steeps into a simple hot infusion on its own or alongside tea leaves. Rubbing the powder between the palms just before adding it wakes the aroma up. Packed in a resealable pouch that keeps the leaf dry. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

أوراق نعناع مجففة مطحونة إلى مسحوق ناعم هي كل ما في كيس النعناع المطحون من زينة. لونه أخضر مريمي هادئ لا أخضر طازج، وعطره بارد عشبي بحلاوة خفيفة ومركّز إلى حد أن رشّة صغيرة تكفي. يُخفق مع اللبن والعيران، ويُرشّ على الفول وقت الفطور، ويُخلط في عجينة الكبة وشوربة العدس. يتبّل التبولة والفتوش عند عدم توفر الورق الطازج، ويناسب سلطة الزبادي بالخيار، ويُنقع في ماء ساخن كمشروب وحده أو مع ورق الشاي. وفرك المسحوق بين الكفين قبل إضافته مباشرة يوقظ عطره. يأتي في كيس قابل لإعادة الإغلاق يحفظ الورق جافاً. يُحفظ في مكان بارد وجاف بعيداً عن أشعة الشمس المباشرة.
