Zeina Crushed Red Pepper 80 g

Coarse flakes of dried red chilli, seeds included, are what give Zeina Crushed Red Pepper its bite. The colour runs from brick to deep scarlet, and the heat sits in the moderate-to-hot range, arriving quickly and then fading rather than lingering. Shake it over pizza, grilled meat and shawarma, stir it through labneh, hummus and tomato dips, or warm a spoonful in olive oil with garlic to make a chilli oil for bread and pasta. The seeds carry most of the heat, so shake the pouch before measuring for an even mix. Half a teaspoon lifts a family-sized pot; a full one makes it properly fiery. Packed in a resealable pouch that keeps the flakes dry. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

رقائق الفلفل الأحمر المجروش من زينة رقائق خشنة من الفلفل الحار المجفّف مع بذوره، ولونها يتدرّج من الطوبي إلى القرمزي الغامق. حرارتها بين المتوسطة والعالية، تصل سريعاً ثم تهدأ ولا تبقى طويلاً. رشّها على البيتزا والمشويات والشاورما، أو اخلطها مع اللبنة والحمص وصلصات الطماطم، أو سخّن ملعقة منها في زيت الزيتون مع الثوم لتحصل على زيت حار للخبز والمعكرونة. البذور تحمل أكثر الحرارة، لذا حرّك الكيس قبل القياس ليتساوى الخليط. نصف ملعقة صغيرة تكفي لإحياء قدر عائلي، وملعقة كاملة تجعله لاذعاً فعلاً. تأتي في كيس قابل لإعادة الإغلاق يحفظ الرقائق جافة. يُحفظ في مكان بارد وجاف بعيداً عن أشعة الشمس المباشرة.
